How to add, edit, or delete a group member tag on WhatsApp

Group member tags allow users to add more information about themselves or their role in a group. For example, a person can describe themselves as a coach in their sport team’s group chat or their role in an organization. This information will be visible to current and future group members and will appear under the user's name in the message bubble and in the group member list. Member tags are specific to the group so you can set different tags for different groups.
